Addressing the meeting with the representatives of the industry organised by the district employment training department at the Collectorate here on Wednesday, the principal secretary said that the government has been striving to provide training to the ITI diploma holders under the various employment training programmes.

Addressing the meeting with the representatives of the industry organised by the district employment training department at the Collectorate here on Wednesday, the principal secretary said that the government has been striving to provide training to the ITI diploma holders under the various employment training programmes.
Jayalakshmi, commissioner of Employment Training, appealed to the industry to pay a stipend of Rs. 4,500 to the apprentices while undergoing training. “Industrialists should become partners to improve the ITIs,” she added. District Collector A Dinakar Babu said that industry should provide employment to the youth from rural areas particularly from backward areas in the district.
