The lotus pond, the official residence of AP opposition leader and President of YSRCP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Hyderabad became a venue for first ever meeting between two young turks viz YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao popularly known as KTR on Wednesday. KTR who has been made working President of TRS recently met Jagan at latter's residence to take forward his father's initiative in forming Federal Front which has neither the Congress nor BJP. It is aimed at gaining more autonomy for States in finance and making laws on States' subjects.
The YSRCP since day one from the bifurcation has been fighting for SCC to AP. But the party which came to power took U turn even in the SCS which is said to be life line of the sun rise State. Now TRS especially its President categorically stated that he would support the SCS to AP. So the AP people should welcome it without raking up the TRS earlier stand about the Polavaram project .The TDP also should remember that on its own made futile attempt to make alliance with TRS just before the Assembly elections in TS. But the same party is raising hue and cry over the meeting of young leaders.
In this background the YSRCP must move smartly without affecting its political prospects particularly after completion of its President walkthon from Idupulapaya to Itchapuram. So the meeting between young leaders certainly is helpful if the YSRCP is voted power in ensuing elections. As such AP can sort out problems of water sharing with TS besides the Polavaram and 9th & 10th schedule issues amicably.
