Nalgonda: TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu lambasted the State government for its anti-people policies and said that the government had failed miserably to supply power but enhancing the power tariff. Addressing the media persons at the party office here on Tuesday he said that the people are facing hardship due to the scarcity of drinking water and there was no power in villages for at least ten hours a day. The State government had lost its right to rule the State, he said and added that the policies adapted by the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy were responsible for the present state of affairs. He ridiculed the allocation of Rs. 6,500 crore for power sector out of the Rs 1.6 lakh crore state budget and said that it showed the little understanding the government had in solving the problem. He said that if the properties of the corrupt ministers were seized the power problem could be effectively solved. He said that the people had been anxiously waiting for the TDP to rule the State.
