Diggy calls for calm

Digvijay Singh told media persons that building a capital for Seemandhra is a challenge. Like Chandigarh for Punjab and Haryana and Gandhinagar for Gujarat, a new capital has to be built for the Seemandhra, he said. Focus should be on tackling this major challenge.

Digvijay Singh said that vandalising the statues of national leaders like Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi was really unfortunate. They are leaders, who have done a lot and even laid down their lives for the nation. Digvijay Singh insisted reminded TRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao of his commitment to merge his TRS with the Congress after the decision on Telangana. He should trust the Congress, he said.
