TDP MP CM Ramesh created a storm in the Rajya Sabha today by snatching the papers from the Rajya Sabha secretary-General.
Soon after the House reassembled, Seemandhra MPs opposing division of Andhra Pradesh stormed into the Well of the House and raised 'Jai Samaikyandhra' slogans.
At one stage, CM Ramesh tried to pull the papers from the hands of the Rajya Sabha Secretary-general when it was being read out. When the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, PJ Kurien questioned the TDP MP over his act, Ramesh got into a fight with the deputy chairman. "You can't attack the staff. Very unfortunate," said PJ Kurien to CM Ramesh
There was a minor rift between Telangana TDP MP Gundu Sudharani and CM Ramesh when she attempted to stop him from taking the papers. Amid these noisy scenes, the House has been adjourned till 2pm.
Later, he sought apologises in Rajya Sabha for misbehaving with the Secretary General and the House has dropped the plans of initiating action against him
