Hyderabad: The controversial comments made by Swami Swaroopananda have dragged the monk into a case. A case has been booked on Tuesday against Swami Swaroopananada for hitting the feelings of many devotees of Sai Baba. Nitin Kote, a local of Shiridi, has filed a case against Swami Swaroopananda under sections 295 (A) and 298 of IPC, according to Ram Suryavanshi, the police Inspector at shiridi.
It is evident that the mentioned monk has allegedly commented that worshipping Sai Baba was a conspiracy to divide the Hindus. He said that Sai Baba should not be worshipped as a God, for he was a mere human being and not the God. He also said that his temples should not be built.
