Kannada film actress Pooja Gandhi attended the local district court in Raichur, for alleged violations during 2013 Assembly elections. The popular actress flopped miserably after losing from Raichur in the assembly elections in Karnataka. She attended a court case against the alleged violation of the election code. The hearing the case was postponed to 25th of this month.
The actress cum producer has earlier won her case, with the court giving a clean chit on her upcoming film "Abhinetri”, which is set to release in second week of September. The court had earlier issued a stay order for the film owing to a copyright issue when Novelist Bhagya Lakshmi had approached the court alleging that the film is based on her novel "Abhinetriya Antaranaga," which was written for a weekly Kannada Magazine 'Mangala' in 2003.
