BJP slams Anna Hazare as Spy

Is Anna Hazare a foreign spy? Yes says a BJP mouth piece Hindi magazine -Charaiveti - published from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.

In its latest edition, the magazine carried out an article which says that Anna Hazare and his NGO have joined foreign forces and are acting against the developmental plans being implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Incidentally, the Anna Hzaare NGO is listed one of the beneficiaries of foreign funding and also found questionable by the MEA. The magazine also said that even though Anna is a non-corrupt man, he clearly is anti-nationalist and is a hurdle for the country's growth. The article received severe flack from the opposition parties like AAP and Congress. However, the magazine and the BJP officials are firm on their allegations on the grand old man.

Recently, Anna strongly voiced against Modi government's controversial Land Bill which created animosity between him and the party. During the recent Delhi Assembly Elections, Anna expressed his displeasure on Modi's rule after he became the PM which proved costly for BJP.

It also says that Anna Hazare is not in favour of development and his NGO keeps working smoothly as it is funded by foreign funds.

It has been told that Land Bill is the core issue due to which Anna Hazare is being targeted. Congress and AAP also say that it has been done in order to shift the focus from Land Bill to Anna Hazare who is launching an agitation of jail bharo.
