The movie is set in the backdrop of a small town located along the banks of the River Ganges in Uttar Pradesh.

The story revolves around four lives, including a young low caste boy's love story, a daughter who is guilty about a sexual encounter which ends tragically, her father, who is helpless and his morality is at an all time low, and an energetic and spirited child longing for a family.

The movie also touches on the dirty aspect of a corrupt police officer.

Well, the movie has some intimate and kissing scenes, which are very well showcased and were true to the script of the movie.

Firstly, let's talk about the love story between a low caste boy and a higher caste girl.

In this story, we can clearly see that love is not bound by caste, but, our society is such, where there is no regard for inter-caste love/arranged marriages.

This is mostly seen in small towns. This story is also marred by tragedy and dirty aspects of society.

The love story starts with an old school romance, and then turns, to Facebook romance.

The girl Shallu (Shweta) is ready to run away with the boy Deepak (Vicky) but, little do they know about the tragedy that is in store for them.

Lastly, there is a story of Devi (Richa), who falls in love with a student Piyush (Saurabh), and agrees to have sex with him in a shady lodge.

Little do they know that there would be a police raid that vey instance, and the police thinks that a rape is on, and charges both Devi and Piyush, and the whole incident ends in a tragedy.

Then, the corrupt police inspector blackmails Devi's father, Pandit Vidyadhar (Sanjay), who is very strong on morals, and his desire to safeguard Devi's and his self respect.

The story reveals Devi's struggle to find a good job, as also the falling morality of Vidyadhar.

Performace-wise, all have delivered stellar performances. The direction is also very good, while the screenplay is well done.

All in all, if you are a parallel cinema fan, you will appreciate the movie.
