Chandigarh: Haryana Janhit Congress chief Kuldeep Bishnoi on Wednesday alleged that former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh and Professor Virendra Singh are to be blamed for the worsening situation in the state and demanded imposition of President's Rule.

"The terror and fear in Haryana now is like the 1947 situation. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Professor Virendra Singh are to be blamed in this case. We have demanded a case of treason against them," Bishnoi told the media here.

Bishnoi further blamed the Haryana government saying that there is no fear of administration.

"The chief minister has no experience, no thinking to control the situation. There is no fear of the administration. The administrative officers are going against the law and order and we have demanded action against them too. The government is responsible for this," he added.

"We met the governor and asked him to impose President's Rule. The governor has given us assurances that he will look into the matter. If required we will go to the court. If we have to approach the President we will. We have also demanded CBI investigation on this," Bishnoi said.

Meanwhile, life is returning to normal after agitators called off their protests demanding reservation under OBC category.

All road and rail routes have been cleared and traffic has been restored. Yesterday, curfew was lifted from most of the places and traders opened their shops.

Yesterday evening, former Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda and his MP son Deepender Hooda faced ire of traders whose properties have been damaged by the agitators at Rohtak.

Authorities have asked the two leaders to leave Rohtak. After an audio tape of Prof Virender Singh, political advisor of former chief minister, went viral.
