Looking to connect with the masses, especially the youth, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee will interact directly with netizens on Facebook this Wednesday.

Banerjee will be live on the social networking site on April 13 from 8.30 PM, the party said in a statement. According to a senior party leader, Banerjee will be online for around half an hour and will take direct questions and will instantly reply to them.

"Mamatadi has this unique skill of communication from roadshows, street corner meetings, big rallies to Facebook and twitter. She has this unique skill of communicating with the masses," TMC national spokesperson Derek O' Brien said. Banerjee is a regular user of Facebook and her page has over 16 lakh 'likes'. She also has over 2.6 lakh followers on Twitter.
