Referring to the upcoming Prime Minister's visit to Telangana, he said the proposed 1600 MW power plant at a cost of ten thousand crore rupees will provide employment to 2000. He further said the long pending, 1122 crore rupees cost Manoharabad- Kothapalli railway line will be completed on time. Stating that the revival of fertilizer plant at Karimangar will be a boon to Telangana he reiterated that the central government is committed for the development of the state.

Stating that passing of Child Labour Amendment Act by both the houses of Parliament is historical, he said states like Bihar Uttarakhand and Telangana will be immensely benefited as the presence of more number of Child Labour. He said child Labour below age of14 years is completely abolished in the country with passing of the act. He said a Task force will be formed to monitor the implementation of the act. He said ILO and UN agencies also welcomed the act. He said rules for vigilance committee will be framed in such manner in which the provisions of the act cannot be violated. He said local MLA and MP will have greater role in vigilance committee⁠⁠⁠⁠.
