Guwahati:Former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul was found dead at his official residence in Itanagar on Tuesday morning. Pul allgedly hanged himself at his official residence. The Arunachal Pradesh DGP and senior Congress leader of the state Ninong Ering had confirmed the death of Pul.

The Arunachal Pradesh DGP and senior Congress leader of the state Ninong Ering had confirmed the death of Pul.
Pul had become the CM of Arunachal Pradesh on February 19, 2016, but he had to resign from the post in the wake of the adverse Supreme Court verdict in July 2016.
Pul was joined the BJP led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) few months ago and had to resign in the wake of the adverse Supreme Court he had returned to Congress.
He was State Finance Minister in the ministry of Chief Minister Gegong Apang from 2003 to 2007.
