Vatika, The NorthCap University and Suncity World School celebrate Independence Day

The fervour of independence engulfed Gurgaon as Independence Day celebrations were held all across the city. The celebrations were held by different organisations and institutions in their premises. Vatika's Facilities management wing Enviro, The NorthCap University, and Suncity World School were among the many where Independence Day celebrations were held. The spirit of Tri-color engulfed the city.

Vatika Enviro (http://www.enviroindia.in/), organised Independence Day celebrations at Vatika City and Vatika India Next. The event started with a drawing competition, in which the children living in these societies participated. The Flag Hoisting was done amid recitation of patriotic song and dance by kids. It was followed by sweet distribution, Kite flying and Rangoli Competition (for Ladies). The dress code for the event was Indian ethnic, clothes of tri color hues were worn by residents.

Air Commodore (Retd.) Navtej Singh hoisted the flag at Suncity School. The school choir sang the National anthem. A march past was held wherein children performed a march past on the beat of drums.

At The NorthCap University, Col. Bikram Mohanty (Retd), Registrar, NCU hoisted the flag. A march past was also conducted by all the security officials of the University. The nearby residents also participated in the celebrations.
