Kashmir police arrests LeT militant

A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was arrested from north Kashmir\'s Baramulla district, the state police said on Friday. Omar Khalid Mir was arrested on Thursday in a joint operation from Tojjar village of Sopore area. \"He had joined the militant ranks in May 2014. An AK-47 rifle and three magazines was recovered from him,\" a police official said.
Srinagar:A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was arrested from north Kashmir's Baramulla district, the state police said on Friday.
Omar Khalid Mir was arrested on Thursday in a joint operation from Tojjar village of Sopore area.
"He had joined the militant ranks in May 2014. An AK-47 rifle and three magazines was recovered from him," a police official said.
"His interrogation is likely to reveal vital information about LeT cadre operating in north Kashmir," the police added.
