Sushma Swaraj undergoing tests at AIIMS for kidney transplant
The foreign affairs minister has time and time again offered her assistance to those who\'ve reached out to her on Twitter including people with faulty refrigerators and cars. Or labourers stuck in foreign shores or honeymoon couples without a visa.
New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who has over 6.52 million followers on Twitter is easily one of the most followed female world leaders.
The foreign affairs minister has time and time again offered her assistance to those who've reached out to her on Twitter including people with faulty refrigerators and cars. Or labourers stuck in foreign shores or honeymoon couples without a visa.
But her tweet just a few minutes ago is as heartbreaking as it is brave. The External Affairs minister tweeted, @SushmaSwaraj 6m6 minutes ago "This is to update you on my health. I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless."

She was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 and is being monitored by a team of doctors. Swaraj is admitted at the cardio-neuro centre under the supervision of Balram Airan, Chief of the Cardio Thoracic Centre.
Doctors said her condition is stable and her history of chronic diabetes has affected her kidney functioning. She is on dialysis. Our prayers are with you , ma'aam. Get well soon!
