Panaji: AAP chief ministerial candidate Elvis Gomes on Thursday said that if voted to power, he will send to jail the corrupt political leaders who tricked the public.

Gomes said that on February 4 (the polling day), people of Goa will script "doom and the end of the road" for the corrupt politicians.

"All who tricked the people for decades through the mining scam, innumerable land grab scams and amassed huge amount of unaccounted wealth will be prosecuted and jailed once my government takes office," Gomes told reporters.

Goa will elect its new 40-seat assembly on February 4.

He also promised to ensure "fish for all" at affordable prices in Goa.

He said that during door-to-door interactions with people, he realised that fish which was staple part of food for almost every Goan has become unaffordable for the average family in Goa.

"My government will provide fresh fish at affordable prices at outlets across the entire state of Goa."
