21 children died due to shortage of supply of liquid oxygen in BRD Medical College, in last 36 hours. The parents are mourning the deaths and explained how the negligence of doctors and hospital staff have led to the death of their children.

In one such incident, a five-year-old girl Khushi's father Mohammad Zaheer narrated the entire scenario which took place at the hospital. He said, "I brought my five-year-old baby Khushi to the BRD Hospital on August 10. Oxygen supply to the baby was discontinued. Due to the shortage of oxygen, my daughter died. However, the hospital staff did not confirm that the baby was dead. They delayed the death of the baby."

He continued, "We became aware that the baby had died as her whole body went cold. But with the media outside the hospital, the doctors did not immediately confirm the baby's death. My daughter died at 6 o'clock but they announced it at 10 o'clock after the media had left."
