Gurugram: With Diwali in the offing, RWAs are gearing up to host the pre-festival bash. Among the resident welfare associations holding Diwali Mela are Vipul Green, DLF Gardencity, Sector 61 and Sector 67, of Golf Course Extension Road.

Come October 14th and Vipul Greens will host Diwali Mela. The event will be an irresistible combination of music, entertainment, and shopping. The stalls offering a variety of eye-catching items like jewelry, apparels and décor items would also be set up for shopaholics.

At DLF Gardencity, Diwali Mela would be organized at Sector 90, New Town Heights on 15th October. The highlight of the extravaganza would be a live performance by a band and fun-filled games. Shopping kiosks and stalls offering scrumptious cuisines are other main attractions.

“With the festival of lights around the corner, it is wonderful that Diwali Mela is being organized in our township. Since I am a music buff, I am especially looking forward to the live performance which is part of the celebrations,” said Mr. Pranoy Preetam, a resident of DLF Gardencity

Enviro, facilities management wing of Vatika Group is organizing Diwali Mela 2017 on 13, 14 and 15 October 2017. The same will be organized at Vatika Club One, Sector 82, Vatika India Next. The Mela is open to all and will have live performances, Bollywood retro, dance troupes, puppet show, magic show, games, kids rides, shopping stalls and live food counters.

Sector 61 and Sector 67 RWAs located off Golf Course Extension Road are also set to host Diwali Mela on 17th October and 14th October respectively. Kiosks offering myriad shopping items like diyas, jewelry, home furnishings, handmade products, and handicrafts will be the main attractions. A variety of mouth-watering cuisine ranging from South Indian, Rajasthani, Continental and Indian snacks will also be served for the gastronomical patrons.
