Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi responded to the ongoing controversy over his being registered as 'non-Hindu' in Somnath Temple causing a furore to erupt among the followers.
Addressing a small gathering of traders in Amreli on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi said that he does not need to show any certificate of his religion.
Stating that his grandmother and his family are Shiv bhakts, he further said that they don't speak of such things as they believe their religion is a personal affair.
The video of his speech went viral on Thursday showing Rahul Gandhi asserting that they are not brokers of religion, hence won't use it politically.
