Sincerity finds no place in India?

As far as bureaucrats are concerned, in India we recall very few names even after years. It’s just because of the special qualities in them. Of those very few bureaucrats, the former CBI joint Director, Lakshmi Narayana is also one. He has been relived from his position for last six months. However, the urgency shown by the authorities in relieving him has not been shown in allotting him a suitable position. Why so? Is sincerity, the unique weapon owned by a very few bureaucrats turn to be the hurdle for his posting? Why should such an acclaimed officer should be kept in waiting mode? There are many such questions posed in our minds.

The analysts from all parts of India are of the opinion that such a reckless attitude shown towards the efficient officers is intolerable. They interpret the case of Former Joint Director of CBI, Lakshmi Narayana as more related to Jagan’s disproportion of assets case. Is this true? Is this an indication that a similar thing will happen to all the sincere bureaucrats in future?

“Where the mind is without fear……let my country awake!!” ever remains one of the beautiful verses from Rabindranath’s Geetanjali, which fetched him the prestigious Nobel Prize. Under these circumstances, can any one live without fear while he/she works sincerely?

The need of the hour is to encourage such bureaucrats. India has been leading all nations in corruption. Is it a gain or vain? People from all sectors should strive hard to fight corruption. Influential people to raise the questions for such an injustice caused to sincerity.
