40-year-old Mexican Manuel Uribe, who weighed 550kg (1,210 pounds) posing in San Nicolas de la Garza, Nuevo Leon state. Uribe, who was once the world's heaviest human, has died at the age of 48, medical officials said on May 26, 2014. Preliminary reports say Uribe died due to an irregular heartbeat and an ailment linked to the loss of fluids in his legs.
