Sri Krishna Janmashtami Special
Sri Krishna Janmashtami Special. Krishna is known as Gopal (protector of cows) or Govinda (one who gives pleasure to the cows). Lord Krishna, Hindu god is often depicted playing his flute amongst cows.
It is very ridiculous & greatest irony that dogs are eating biscuit and drinking milk whereas holy cow compel to eat plastic bag and garbage for survival in land of Hindu in Bharart?
Krishna is known as Gopal (protector of cows) or Govinda (one who gives pleasure to the cows). Lord Krishna, Hindu god is often depicted playing his flute amongst cows. Janmashtami (17th August) is the day dedicated to celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, who loved cows. Lord Shiva’s trusted vehicle is Nandi- the sacred bull. Hindus believe that one should never show any disregard for cows in any way.
Cows are the most sacred animals to the Hindus and Hindus believe that all Gods and Goddesses live inside a Cow. According to Hindu religions, Cows are the goddesses of the gods and the refuge of all auspiciousness. That is why kill or eat a cow strictly prohibited in Hinduism. According to Hindu Holy Scriptures, Cows bestow every kind of happiness and for these reason they always are worshipped among Hindu. That why cows got so much importance in Hindu ideology!!
Hindus believe that it is a sin to kill a cow and eat its meat. In Hindus religions it is considered highly auspicious to feed a cow, even before eating breakfast oneself and generally one chapti for cow and one chapti for dog. The cow is so useful that the Hindus in India call her cow, the mother. They worship her as a goddess. It is a pious animal. The holy cow; the Mother of India is revered by all and, in most states, is not allowed to be slaughtered.
Now a day holy and noble cow has to compel to eat plastic bag and garbage for their survival. Many surveys revealed that in Indian’s cities, towns and villages numerous cows and bulls die an excruciatingly painful death from ingesting plastic bags. It is pitiful in the country of holy cow and bulls were dying after consuming plastic carry bags every day.
People tend to collect kitchen waste in plastic carry bags and throw it in garbage bins. Plastic bags containing food that is thrown away ends up littering roads and in garbage dumps and the cow were eating the bags along with the food.
Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati in his famous book “Gokaurnanidhi -- compassion to cows” has depicted the merits of saving a holy cow. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati has also focused in book why cows are very necessary for a healthy survival of society. He also depicted that while killing a cow just for taste makes a society deprived of all the benefits.
Stray cattle especially cow can be seen feeding on garbage at many cities and town in India. The cheap bags contain chemicals such as cadmium- or lead-based chemicals that are harmful to health. I stunned when I saw that many cows eating large quantities of plastic bags near Charra Chungi in Distt.Jhajjar (Haryana). The cows then get bloated and often die if they are not treated. It is hearten story that a 30-60 kg of plastic bags recovered from the stomachs of cows because of irresponsible disposal of plastic bags and defunct municipal waste collection system in Andhra Pradesh.
We should feed her properly. We should never sell the cow for slaughter because she is the savior of our life. Many families in India cannot maintain old cows or bulls/male buffaloes and sell them as they cannot afford to feed them. Now a day’s holy cow leads a life of terrible hopelessness and suffering. You can easily saw that there are hundreds of cattle on the roads feeding on garbage, including plastic. Many cow and bull suffer from plastic ingestion or get entangled in plastic bags and suffocate to death. There is lot of examples of holy cow falling ill and dying after years of plastic bag consumption.
India has an open garbage system, which means open garbage bins on the roads overflowing with stinking waste. Cows and bull eat whatever they can find to survive. In many cities and towns, you can easily see that cows on the roads eat from garbage bins.
Cows are still dying in the urban areas. They are still eating our plastic bags, because they are depending on our garbage. In a Hindu country, cows are sacred animals; whatever causes harm to a cow must be stopped.
Ek zamane mein Bharart me log apne ghar ke darwaze par likhte the “Atithi Devo Bhava”
Phir likha “Siddhi Riddhi” Phir likha “Shubh Laabh” Phir likha “You Are Welcome-”
Aaj ke zamane mein log apne ghar ke bahar likh dete hain “Beware of dog”-“kutte se savdhan”.
