Utnoor: The CPM’s 4,000-km ‘Mahajana Padayatra’ for achieving social justice in Telangana reached here under the leadership of Telangana party secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Friday after paying tributes to the tribal martyrs in Indravelli mandal. Girijans in traditional dance welcomed the CPM activists.

He accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of neglecting the welfare of the weaker sections of society.

The CPM leader accused KCR of ignoring the TRS commitment of allocating funds for the development of 93 per cent of the State population comprising SCs, STs and minorities.

He observed that although there has been a change of the government, the same policies of the administration were continuing. Hence, Veerabhadram said that there was a need for everyone to join the struggle for ushering in a change in the attitude of the officialdom and questioning them.
