Nizamabad: The Nizamabad district is headed for a hot Sumer this year with soaring temperatures, according to the predictions made by the Meteriological Department officials.

Although the district received heavy rainfall during the end of the Monsoon last year, temperature began rising from February itself. Usually, temperatures start rising from the month of March. By 12 noon, the weather is becoming extremely sultry and hot.
During the past two days, temperature rose to 36oC and the city ears a deserted look during the afternoons as people deciding to stay indoors as they are scared to venture out.
As the district received heavy rainfall, the weather is also chilly during the nights. If the same trend continues, by the month of April or May, the temperature may soar to 40 or 45oC.
The daily wage workers are facing immense hardships, sweating profusely while at work. Doctors are advising the people to take necessary precautions against sun-stroke and dehydration during this summer.
