YSR Cong only party for united AP, says Sharmila

Kanigiri (Prakasam): Both the Congress and Telugu Desam party without caring for the sentiment of crores of people have given their consent letters to divide the State, said YS Sharmila, YSR Congress leader, while addressing a large gathering at the Church Centre here on Tuesday.

She exhorted people to chase out Chandrababu from addressing meetings for undertaking ‘Atma Gowravam’ campaign after giving the consent letter to divide the state. She said that YSR Congress was the only party which would protect the rights of the people of the state. Recalling the resignations of the party MLAs, she said that they had taken the decision to resign when they sensed that the State would be divided.

Had the MLAs of Telugu Desam and Congress submitted their resignations at that time, the decision to divide the state would have been withdrawn by now, she added. The Centre which has no power to solve the problems of electricity, irrigation and unemployment, has no right to divide the state, she pointed out.

She lambasted the TDP chief for his self-respect campaign and asked the people to drive him out from their areas.

Sharmila asserted that brother Jagan would come out soon to solve the problems of people. “Jagan is the only leader who thinks about the welfare of people,” she added. She thanked the people for showering overwhelming affection towards their family.
