Rajahmundry : Mr. Kesavabhatla Srinivasa Rao, who has taken up several service-oriented programmes as Railway employee, received the 'Shrama Shakti' award announced by the State Department of Labour. Minister for Labour Danam Nagender presented the award to Mr Kesavabhatla Srinivasa Rao during the May Day celebrations at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Mr Srinivasa Rao is the only Railway employee in East Godavari district to get the prestigious award while performing his duties. The Labour Department announced the award to Mr Srinivasa Rao considering the several service-oriented programmes initiated by him.
He said the award has increased his responsibility. Mr Srinivasa Rao was felicitated with a shawl and was given a certificate and memento.A Rajahmundry Station Master BH Subrahmanya Sastry and chief ticket inspectors M Adi Vishnu and AR Prasad congratulated Mr Srinivasa Rao on his achievement.
