The Delhi police said that Rajasthan Royals cricketer Ankeet Chavan broke down during interrogation into the spot-fixing scam in the Indian Premier League and accepted his role in the scandal. "One of the cricketers, Ankeet Chavan, has accepted that he made a mistake," a Delhi police official said. Ankeet Chavan Chavan's other two Rajasthan Royals teammates Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila, however, have not yet accepted the charges. The trio are under a five-day police custody after they were brought to Delhi from Mumbai, where they were arrested. The three cricketers were questioned on Friday by a high ranking official of the Delhi Police special cell. "More teams have been sent to other states, we will be conducting more raids to catch hold of more bookies," the official added. Besides the three cricketers, Delhi Police have also arrested 11 bookies for alleged spot-fixing.
