The 27 years aged tennis player turned youth role model, plans to set up a tennis academy in her hometown, Hyderabad. She said the only thing she knew is playing Tennis and wanted to share her knowledge in the game to the future aspirants. With the same idea, now, she planned to establish a tennis academy, which has come true by now.
She said she finds potential in many players hailing from Hyderabad. But, said Sania, the only need is to put them in the right track. For that an academy was the need of the hour, she added. She admitted someday someone will replace her. But, who replaces her is the question of the hour.

She recollected of the years before the year 2003, when there used to be no scope for the game in Hyderabad. She said that she went many hardships during her practice sessions due to lack of amenities. She said there are many talented tennis payers in India and stressed for qualitative tennis.
She viewed her academy as the product of her love for the game. When questioned, she said, she didn’t feel any pain during the entire course of setting up the tennis academy.
