Fifth seed Prerna Bhambri defeated city girl Bhuvana Kalva 6-3, 6-4 while seventh seed Nidhi Chilumula after winning the first set 6-0 lost the second 1-6 but came strongly to tame Rashmi Teltubde 6-2 in the decider.
