Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) is all geared up to host New Zealand ‘A’ players when they arrive here for two four-day matches against India ‘A’.

Vijayawada: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) is all geared up to host New Zealand ‘A’ players when they arrive here for two four-day matches against India ‘A’.

Asserting that Dr Gokaraju Laila Gangaraju ACA grounds in Mulapadu and Dr YSR ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam were match-ready, Ch Arun Kumar, Secretary of the Association told the media here on Wednesday that they would make a success of both matches that have been allotted to ACA.

He said the stadium in Mulapadu that is spread over 13 acres of land has been developed at a cost of Rs. 17 crore.
The first match will be held from September 23 to 26 at the Devineni Vekata Ramana-Pranitha Cricket Ground in Mulapadu. The ground will also host the

second match from September 30 to October 3.Subsequently, the visitors will play five international matches from October in Visakhapatnam.The wicket has been prepared for the big battle as have been other facilities.The administrators had won praise when they conducted the India-West Indies Women T20 match last season, he pointed out.

The visitors will arrive here on September 20 and have net sessions the next two days.Arun Kumar thanked Dr Gokaraju Gangaraju, MPm and MSK Prasad, Chairman of the Senior Selection Committee, for their constant patronage of ACA and their contribution to boost the sport.K Ramachandra Rao, Treasurer of ACA, and Koka Ramesh, Central Zone Secretary, were present along with other Association officials.
