Hyderabad colts crush Goa by innings

Hyderabad: It was full seven points that were collected by a merciless Hyderabad, which annihilated Goa by an innings and 57 runs in the second round of the Vijay Merchant Trophy Under- 16 tournament here on Thursday.

For the host, the trump cards were T Rohan (5/22) and Trishank Gupta (5/33) who combined well to dismiss the opponents for 120 on following-on.

In other league matches, Andhra and Tamil Nadu earned three points each for getting a first innings lead in their drawn encounters against Karnataka and Kerala respectively.
