Govt employees also plan to stall work in non-govt offices

Srikakulam: The agitation for Samaikyandhra is intensifying by the day. The government employees, who have stalled administration for the past few days, are now planning to stall the work in non-government organisations also. They blocked traffic on the national highway at Tekkali, Narsannapet, Palasa and Itchapuram areas.

Private taxis and autos here were stopped. Huge rallies were taken out by government and private department employees. Under the banner of Telugu Desam Party “Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu Yuva Sena,” some leaders resorted to indefinite hunger strike. Yuva Sena leader and in-charge of Srikakulam Parliamentary constituency Mr. Kinjarapu Ramamohan Naidu inaugurated the hunger strike camp at Seven Roads Junction here on Tuesday. At least now the Union Government should announce its decision to keep the State united, they urged.
