Google's Voice Search To Show Results For Relationship Terms

Washington: Google has reportedly added a new feature to its Voice Search that allows Android users to do voice search on their smartphones by relationship terms.
The updated Voice Searchwould also show up results for name searches, like contacts that have been designated by the user having a particular familial connection in the 'relationship' field tool on Android.
This would mean that user could speak a phrase such as "call mom," or "text sister" to initiate those actions without the user needing to say the person's name as listed in their contacts, Mashable reports.
To launch contacts on the Android handset via voice, a user first needs to allow the Google search app to access their contacts and the profile information attached to each person or place, the report added.
