Ola backs Kejriwal's Odd even formula with car pooling offer

New Delhi : Ola cabs, one of the biggest taxi services in India, is in full support of implementation of the Odd-Even formula. Owing to the same, Ola launched its CarPool and Cab Share services for the people of Delhi.Cab Share is a feature integrated within the Ola app. It lets you share your Ola ride. Other people headed in the same direction can board the cab, which also turns out to be cheaper as you split the fare.
Amidst the Even-Odd experiment, Ola spokesperson in a statement said, "Multiple options like Mini, Sedan, Prime, TFS, Auto, Ola Share, Ola Shuttle and CarPool available on the Ola app, allow for choice and increased availability for customers to comply with the odd-even rule at all times."
"We are also seeing tremendous adoption of shared mobility categories like Ola Share, Car Pool and Ola Shuttle. We are already seeing double-digit growth in demand across various categories, over the last week in Delhi NCR with tens of thousands of vehicles active on the Ola app. We are optimistic about initiatives like car/cab-pooling and the ongoing odd-even experiment contributing to a pollution free Delhi in the time to come," the spokesperson added.
