Khammam: One dies, two hurt near Gajulagudem railway station

Merugu Ajay (21) died, while Anil and Krishna sustained stern injuries in an accident, early on Tuesday. According to the local people, the trio went to offload the coal from a place near Gajulagudem Railway station in the jurisdiction of Palvancha in Khammam district.

Coal as a routine practice gets exported to Nava Bharat industry from Manugur and it is offloaded near Gajulagudem railway station. During this process, early on Tuesday, as many as 400 casual labours went to offload the coal. The victims fall from the wagon, while they were making attempt to climb the wagon. Ajay died on the spot, while the other two hurt severely. More details in the matter are awaited.
