Warangal: "We will ground anyone who defames the state of Telangana or its people,” warned Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. While speaking at the ‘Kallojji Shatha Jayanthi festival‘, he reacted to the media protests, KCR said "If you want to stay in Telangana you have to salute us, we don’t need the channels who defame Telangana. We will bury the people who don’t respect us 10 km under the ground.”
There is no problem if you criticize KCR, but I will not tolerate anyone who criticizes the MLAs of Telangana. All the Legislative members have filed a complaint against those news channels. Now it’s the decision of the Speaker of the Assembly. The MSOs banned the channels not us. They are making unnecessary allegations against us by taking up issue to Delhi. I salute the cable operators who took the decision to ban these channels,” said CM KCR. He also requested people who are working in these channels to re-evaluate their professional judgment to work in those organizations.
