Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Dr T Rajaiah's candid comments at Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Gandhi Hospital held on Sunday have come in as a virtual shocker for the government doctors' fraternity that attending the fete. Patting them on their back for frequently raising voice about their rights, the Minister, in the same tone, asked them to show same level of enthusiasm while discharging duties.
Rajaiah was the chief guest for the 60-year celebrations of Gandhi Hospital. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that doctors and associations had been frequenting him for the last three months about rights but none raised their voice and gave suggestions about the sorry state of affairs in government hospitals.
Earlier, Rajaiah and Rajya Sabha MP K Keshav Rao presented gold medals to toppers of various UG and PG disciplines.
