Warangal: TNGOs Association president G Deviprasad Rao on Friday appealed to Governor E S L Narasimhan to ensure safety of Telangana employees working in Andhra Pradesh. Rao pointed that the Telangana employees working in AP were complaining of lack of security. He appealed to the Governor to initiate immediate measures to guarantee their safety. He warned of agitations, if corrective steps were not taken. Earlier, addressing the TNGOs Standing Council meeting, Rao called upon the employees to make dedicated efforts to turn Telangana into a developed State. “Our dreams for a separate State have been fulfilled, but a lot more is to be done to ensure its all-round growth.” He advised them to work beyond working hours to serve the State.

Collector G Kishan asked the employees to work hard to build a ‘golden Telangana State.’ All employees need to play their role to achieve the goal. The council demanded that the State repatriate all Seemandhra employees in Telangana State to AP, to implement the 10th PRC recommendations with 70 per cent fitment, grant special leave for the 42-day ‘sakalajanula samme’ and to withdraw cases against those for participating in Telangana movement.
