ECIL launches special drive
Responding to the call given by the Prime Minister for a Swachh Bharat Mission to realize Mahatma Gandiji’s dream of a clean India, public sector Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has initiated special drive to clean up its environment on the day of Gandhi Jayanthi on Thursday
Hyderabad: Responding to the call given by the Prime Minister for a Swachh Bharat Mission to realize Mahatma Gandiji’s dream of a clean India, public sector Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has initiated special drive to clean up its environment on the day of Gandhi Jayanthi on Thursday. P Sudhakar, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, VSB Babu, Director (Personnel), J S Anand, General Manager (Finance), G Yadagiri Rao, President, Staff & Workers Union, Dr Venubababu, Secretary, Officers Association and several employees have come to office and cleaned up the Administrative Building and the factory premises. Also to create awareness in the society, ECIL employees have also cleaned up the area near Dr B R Ambedkar’s statue at ECIL Cross Road. On this occasion, the CMD has also administered a pledge to the employees and called upon the employees to allot specific time in a week for intensive clean up of their work places and surrounding premises.
