Adilabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Wednesday paid rich tributes to tribal leader Komaram Bheem on the occasion of his 74th death anniversary. The Chief Minister recalled the struggle waged by Komaram Bheem for the liberation of Hyderabad. He regretted that proper recognition was not provided to Komaram Bheem in united Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier, Chandrasekhar Rao visited the memorial of Komaram Bheem at Jodeghat and paid floral respects to him. Deriving inspiration from Bheem’s life, the TRS carried out Telangana movement to achieve the separate State, KCR said.

The Chief Minister laid foundation stone for the construction of Komaram Bheem Museum. He said the Telangana State government would spend Rs 25 crore to build the memorial. Minister for Forests Jogu Ramanna was also present.
