Girija Found Dead In Bore Well

Hyderabad: Manchala village in Ranga Reddy district was left heartbroken on Tuesday. The 45-hour operation for the rescue four-year-old Girija ended in vain. The rescuers confirmed the girl's death. She was trapped 45-foot deep in the open borewell from Sunday morning.

The worst fears of the rescue team were confirmed after they finally managed to reach the spot where Girija was trapped.

The rescue team as well as district joint collector M V Reddy had hinted that the chances of the girl's survival were slim and that the rescue operation was hampered by the presence of hard rocks and was driven only by hope.

At 11: 30 A.M Joint collector confirmed the death of the girl and said that the body will recovered in an hour.
