According to sources, Rao asked the Governor to intervene and talk to the Andhra Pradesh government and see that Telangana got its due share of power.

He is also learnt to have told the Governor to talk to the Centre and see that full justice was done to the state of Telangana in regard to sharing of Krishna waters. The issue of division of assets of APSRTC is

understood to have figured in the talks.

The Chief Minister informed the Governor that the government would hold the budget session of the Assembly either from October 27 or November 3.

Rao is said to have briefed the Governor on the efforts made to convince the Supreme Court on the division of the state High Court. He explained about the talks he had with the Supreme Court Chief Justice H L Dattu during his recent visit to New Delhi last week.

He also informed the Governor that as a follow-up measure Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma met the Chief Justice of India in New Delhi on Thursday. Dattu is learnt to have given his nod for division of judiciary between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.
