Sattupalli: Widows, aged and physically challenged persons along with TDP workers staged a dharna on Wednesday in front of the office of MPDO at Vemsuru mandal headquarters. They demanded the TRS government to extend ‘Aasara’ pension scheme for all eligible persons. The TDP politburo member and Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah took part in the protest. Speaking on the occasion, he came down heavily on TRS government for not addressing people’s issues. Instead it was passing time just by conducting surveys.
