TRS flays Ponnala for comments on Aasara

TRS MLC K Prabhakar on Friday expressed displeasure over Congress for resorting to “useless politics” on Aasara pension scheme. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Prabhakar said Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah could not digest the scheme being implemented for the cause of poor and deprived classes.
Hyderabad: TRS MLC K Prabhakar on Friday expressed displeasure over Congress for resorting to “useless politics” on Aasara pension scheme. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Prabhakar said Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah could not digest the scheme being implemented for the cause of poor and deprived classes.
He asked Ponnala to stop making baseless allegations and submit to the government a letter of pensioners under Aasara scheme so that it could scrutinise them and extend pensions to the eligible. “We invite the Opposition parties to make constructive criticism,” he said adding TRS government was committed for growth of the poor.
