Traffic jams get unwieldy at Kolapahad plaza

Nalgonda: Long traffic jam was witnessed at GMR Toll Plazas at Korlapahad and Pathangi on National Highway No 65 on Sunday evening as people from Andhra Pradesh returning to Hyderabad after celebrating Sankranthi festival in their native places. The traffic jam at Korlapahad Toll Plaza became unwieldy between 5 pm and 6 pm as more than 200 vehicles snarled up in traffic.

Even though additional toll collection counters were opened, they failed to ensure free flow of traffic.

It took more than one hour for the police to clear the traffic jam.
