After six months in seat of absolute power since bifurcation of Telangana, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti president and Telengana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday declared that his party was invincible in the state and dared anyone to upset it.

"From now onward, it will only be our rule (TRS rule) in Telengana,” he asserted while addressing the first extended executive committee meeting of the TRS that got underway at a luxury convention hall on the outskirts of the City.

TRS would find ways and means to refresh its fractured relations with NDA-led centre and get all benefits and sops assured during bifurcation, he said adding that TRS had brought the downfall of the TDP in 2004 and and elevation of the Congress to power and again dethroned Congress in 2014.

Throwing a broad side at all of his political opponents (particlarly Chandrababu Naidu), the TRS leader said there was no future for any other political party in Telangana. "They are unable to digest our success and the facts,” he said adding that after the delimitation of new constituencies is completed the TRS will be invincible. KCR also defended his sacking Deputy chief minister T Rajaiah contending that he had no alternative but to emphasize on transparency in administration in the battle against political corruption.

The two day meeting of the first extended executive committee of the TRS held after the thumping victory in general elections of 2014 also selected his son and state IT minister K T Rama Rao as the working president of the TRS. "TRS will win 130 of the 154 Assembly seats," he said. At present the TRS has 67 members in a Telangana Assembly of 119 seats, which will go up to 154 after delimitation. It had trounced Congress and TDP in the bye election to Medak parliament and also cornered the Telangana Legislative council chairmanship by winning over all Congress, TDP and YSRC MLCs.

The TRS convention at an air conditioned convention hall on the outskirts of the city, attracted nearly 10,000 party men from all levels. Besides ID cards, KCR announced that all party workers would also be insured against accident.
