Karne Lashes Out At Ponnala, TDP Leaders

Speaking to media persons in the TRS Legislature Party office here, Prabhakar alleged that Lakshmaiah had been desperately trying to be in the news to remain in limelight. It was also intended to protect his post as TPCC president.

Stating that KCR was only interested in developing Telangana State, he alleged that the Congress and TDP were criticising the Chief Minister only to show off to make impression on their party leaders. Justifying the decision to shift State Secretariat, Prabhakar said the location of HOD offices at different places was creating difficulties in the movement of inter- department files.

Therefore, KCR took a wise decision to move the Secretariat to a new building which would house offices of all HODs too. The Congress leaders should introspect as why its government had sold way prime properties in the city. He alleged that Lakshmaiah had indulged in large-scale irregularities in the implementation of Jalayagnum projects during his stint as Irrigation Minister.

The TRS MLC also slammed Telangana TDP leaders for submitting a memorandum to Governor E S L Narasimhan against Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari. He said the TDP leaders had never questioned the caste of Srihari when he was with the TDP. However, they started vilifying Srihari by making false allegation after he was appointed as Deputy Chief Minister.

The TDP leaders were pawn in the game of power politics being played Andhra leaders. He dared the Telangana TDP leaders to stage a protest demonstration in front of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as he was responsible for power crisis in Telangana State.
