Film actor and director R Narayana Murthy called on revolutionary poet and Arunodaya Samskrutika Samakya president Kanuri Venkateswara Rao at the CPI-ML New Democracy party office here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the actor heaped praise on the 96-year-old Kanuri Venkateswra Rao for playing an instrumental role in spearheading revolutionary movements Telangana Sayudha Poratam and separate statehood through his spirited literary.

“Those who don’t stand by people will never be regarded as poets,” Narayana Murthy said. Telangana Writers Forum (TWF) State president Juluri Gowri Shankar, CPI-ML New Democracy district secretary Potu Ranga Rao, and IFTU leader Manda Venkateswarlu were among those present.
