KCR says media restrictions inevitable Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that with regard to media\'s access to the state secretariat, his government will not act in an undemocratic manner.
On Friday, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that with regard to media's access to the state secretariat, his government will not act in an undemocratic manner. However, he said few regulations are required on entry of journalists into the secretariat.
The Chief Minister after reviewing the TRS Party’s membership drive said that he will be discussing this issue with journalists' representatives at the Press Academy and the suggestions will be taken on how to proceed.
Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao also said that some changes are needed for the current unrestricted access. Demanding that the government give up its plans to restrict entry of reporters into the secretariat, some journalists from the visual media earlier on Friday, protested outside the CM's office at the secretariat.
